Answers to common questions about the NDU E-Library system.

How do I borrow a book?
Browse the catalog, find a book with available copies, click Reserve. Pick it up at the library front desk within 3 days and the librarian will issue the loan.
How many books can I borrow at once?
Students may borrow up to 3 books at a time. Staff may borrow up to 5.
How long is the loan period?
The standard loan period is 14 days. You may renew up to 2 times if no one else has reserved the book.
How do I renew a loan?
Log in and go to My Loans. Click "Renew" next to the book. Renewals are not available if the book is overdue or you already have 2 renewals.
What happens if I return a book late?
A fine of ₦50 per day is charged for overdue books. Fines must be paid before you can borrow again.
How do I pay fines?
Visit My Account → Pay Fines. You can settle fines at the library front desk. Online payment integration is coming soon.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot password?" on the login page and enter your registered email. A reset link will be sent to you.
Can I access e-books?
Yes! Books marked as "E-Book" or "Both" have a digital version. After reserving, you will receive an access link via email.
